Gebu Goes Places: Perhentian (20-22 July 2007)

i've been really busy lately.. so, i haven't really done any updates regarding my previous trips..
there was bali.. on 6th - 9th july.. then there was my perhentian trip 20th - 22nd july.. both were really good trips. so it's a waste not to do any reviews..
i'm now waiting for the vendors to come for a meeting.. so i'll just do some write up on perhentian first.. :D ermm.. i think i'll just copy and paste whatever i've written on MUW.com hahaha...

friday 20 July
arrived at Kuala Besut at about 5:30 am. it's probably the worst bus ride i've ever been in.. or perhaps i'm getting old? ermm.. i think it's the bus. after breakfast, we got on the 8:30 am boat after eating roti canai at a a nearby roti canai joint. duyong95 and her friend, nana ate roti cotek.. they never offered me to taste it.. and we arrived at perhentian island at about ermm.. can't remember.. hehee.. but we stayed at samudera. next to arwana.. how i wished i stayed at arwana instead. they don't even provide towel.. kedekut

Our first dive.. hehehe.. gosh.. it's only been a few days, and already i forgot what i saw.. but i do remember i had a nose bleed after the dive. i think cause my nose was congested due to the cold. but after the nose bled, my flu's gone.. hahaha.. so i guess it was a good thing we were divide

d into three groups: the photographers (abang, ipin and yan.. plus nurul or comot. nana calls them guys baghdad.. ermm don't ask why, i'm still confused) ..... the leisure divers (that's us: ezatul, myself, lily, and muzie) .....and the OWD students (razi and azmi).

onn was our DM. that poor guy.. hahaha... his head's been kicked too many times.. hahaha.. dia kata macam kena machinegun :))

but he's nice.. even tho i think he merajuk after his head was kicked by some divers.. i saw the whole thing but i didn't take photos.. rugi..

i personally have never seen a blue spotted ray up close and personal before.. to be able to capture a shot of one this dive was quite an exciting thing for me

this grouper (according to onn it's combatfish grouper) was just resting there when i approached it, it didn't even move..

reminded me of traffic jam in KL

onn found this nudi .. not sure what's the real name.. bobo from muw said it's probably Flabellina rubrolineata or Pteraeolidia ianthina... we thot it was serpent pteraeolidia
