redang 2-4th June 2007

hahaha... i am so tanned right now.. and so addicted to diving right now.. i've just been certified as an AOWD. 5 specialties - deep dive, wreck dive, night dive, navigation, and drift dive. hehee.. done all that with flying colors. don't tell halimi, i sort of cheated when doing navigation. the compass he provided was broken. hehehe.. shhh... i also now have my own bcd and reg. now i am eyeing the suunto d6 dive comp. i don't think i'll take that long to get my own dive comp. hehhee.. i know myself well enough that i'd just buy it soon after someone broke my heart.. and from the looks of it, i think someone soon will by end of the year.

redang was fabulous as always. i've always loved redang..since our trip to chagar hutang in 2003/2004.. can't remember what year.. but i never got the friends to go back with. so when halimi told me i'll be doing my AOWD in redang i jumped with joy. i invited hani to go along. she was fascinated enough with scuba diving, that she tried discover scuba. poor girl.. i forgot she wears glasses. tak kisah lahh.. she's safe with halimi.

hani and i took the plane. so, we arrived a day earlier. slept in yen tin midtown hotel. my gosh.. it's awful. and it made my coughing worse.. i've been coughing since a week before the trip.. and even got mc for the whole week. i was worried but the doctor released me for the dive trip. and halimi and macha (the owner of gipsy diver @mozana in redang) said as long as it's not running nose i am fine bebeh..

we arrived at the shahbandar jetty at 8:30 am. the ferry was supposed to leave at 9 am. so we were there kinda early lah.. hehehe.. ok la i have to admit it's been darn too long since my last dive.. i was really excited. plus all the new gears and equipment.. and the new bag.. just had to show off my new bag to halimi. hehehe.. we left at around 9:30 or so.. it was a long wait. then we arrived at laguna. man.. it's so beautiful. unfortunately we weren't staying in laguna.

the chalet we're heading to is mozana. apparently it's like the cheapest around long beach.. tak kisah la... divers don't care where they sleep. hehehe... i don't care as long as there are cute looking guys on board. and my wish was granted... hahaha... tak de la good looking ke apa... but they have tight buns and oh-my-god-hard-as-steel bods.... just thinking about them makes me hot.. hahaha... gersang la tuh.. nyampah taww...

i've put up so many photos in my multiply page.. can see them all there.. my first underwater photography experience. it was fun. i finally felt comfortable with my buoyancy. felt kinda proud with the results.. tho most of them turned out to be errmmm... bad. but the few good ones really made me proud. tak sesia la aku beli casing tu dekat 1k regernye... hehehe... the satisfaction is priceless.. mastercard can really use this in its ad. since i did use my mc to buy it. bulan depan ni nak ke bali pulak.. rasa macam dah makin kurang makin kurang duit ku.. adeiissss.... i think i've blown a hole in my pocket. i no longer poke it using scissors ke apa ke.. i've literally put a bomb there.. urghh... tak kisah lah.. janji puas. i'll just have to be creative in my spending nanti..

one of the penyus we spotted. this is the only penyu that was err.. photogenic.. kekeke... the others didn't turn out as good in my camera. :P we found this penyu on during our first leisure dive. third day of the trip..

this is a group of bumpheads... it's during our deep dive on the morning of the 3rd of June. Halimi said it's typical time for their breakfast when we spotted them. neat eh?

now this fish is so hard to photograph. asek move about.. isk isk. finally got a good shot of it.
